He shot 6-and-up 66 and opened his back nine with four consecutive threesomes, including an eagle to 13, and in the circle he left without any. Now sitting on a 6-and-out tournament.

Dechambemaua shot early, annoying three of his first five holes and four of the top eight to reach the second at one point. However, he cooled on his back, shooting even a couple to finish 4 and sit in 7 in two rounds.

Justin Rose has twice reached 9 lower for the tournament after the birds at the 12th and 16th couple. But he scored 17 and only gained a stroke in his second round. He has one shot lead.

Other big names within striking distances include Viktor Hovland and Jason Day in 4-Under; Ludvig Aberg, Hideki Matsuyama, Patrick Reed and Collin Morikawa in 3-Ispod; and Xander Schauffele, Tommy Fleetwood and Brian Harman Six in 2-Under.

The main champions 1-SPOD or even include Bubba Watson, Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick and Wyndham Clark.
