Two American women arrested in California immigration checkpoint After border patrol agents found that they were trying to smuggle two children to the United States.
Women were arrested by border patrol agents awarded in the EL Centro sector on Tuesday at an immigration control point 86 near Westmorland, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said on Thursday.
Authorities reported that one woman was driving while the other was on the passenger seat, and two girls, at the age of 10 and 12, were sleeping in their backs. Adult identities are not released.

A woman who at the beginning of drove agents to travel to California from Arizona, but later told the authorities that they had come to the US from Mexico through San Luis Luka to enter.
The deviations in the driver’s story were encouraged by the agent of the Border Patrol Indo -based station to direct their vehicle to a secondary inspection, there it was revealed that children’s photographs and names did not fit what was on their ID cards.
During the interrogation, the agents learned that the girls were not related to any woman in the vehicle and that the driver did not know their mother.

Girls were ultimately identified as unaccompanied minors from Mexico, Said CBP.
The chief patrol agent Gregory Bovino, from the El Centro sector, said this incident was “as the children began.”
“It’s almost unbearable to think about what terrible crimes are waiting for children who are not with their parents,” Bovino said. “The border environment is full of this type of activity in the last few years, however, the focus has now moved, and serious penalties are waiting for smugglers who have been injuring children.”
