Famous “Star Trek” actor William Shatner on Wednesday refused to delete history and rewrite literature in fiery posts.
“It is called presentism and it was used desolate on history a few years ago when the statue was demolished, books were banned and things were renamed to prove how progressive the world became,” Shatner said to X, inviting for days next day next days Death of George Floyd at 2020 where cities were burned across the country and statues were demolished in protest.
Shatner, played by Captain James T. Kirk on the original TV series “Star Trek” from 1966 to 1969, also claimed that Paramount+ “deliberately combined” his famous introductory line “so that he would go bravely where no one left before,” calling the change “presentation in his best.” However, the phrase remains intact on the current platform.

Shatner also shared his frustration because of “Wokies” forcing changes to Laura Ingalls Wilder series “Little House on Prairie”.
“Obviously you were not around when Wokies (not to be confused with the Wookiees;) forced the Library Association to change the name of the Laura Ingalls Wilder name Literary Prize because of their presentation and their complaints on how the natives were shown in the late 1800s,” he tweeted.
“Obviously, there is a line in one of the books in which Laura wrote about a character who said:” There were no people who lived on the prairie only the Indians and there were one or two other lines that were culturally insensitive with presenting, but reflected the opinion of America from 1860. “
In 2018, the Association of Bibliothec Service for Children’s (ALSC) Committee voted unanimously Renaming “Laura Ingalls Wilder Award” as “a reward for the heritage of children’s literature”.
“The decision was made given the fact that Wilder’s legacy, as presented to her body, includes expressions of stereotypical attitudes in accordance with the ALSC basic values of inclusivity, integrity and respect and reaction,” the statement said after voting.
