The incident happened at the house of her former boyfriend in February 2024, for days after she was told to move out when the couple ended the relationship. In the early hours of the morning, Mcknight aimed at the victim’s head, shot him while he slept and left him blind in one eye.

During the trial, prosecutors claimed that Mcknight “did not like” that the victim had asked her to move out of the house, as a result, acting from jealousy.

Mcknight’s defender insisted that her ex-boyfriend could not identify the scorer, but the victim testified that although he was unable to see after being shot in the head, Mcknight was the only other person inside the house at the time of the incident.

The Cumberland District Prosecutor’s Office and the MCKNIGight defender did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital for comment.

Mcknight was elected in the Dauphin County Bench in 2016, resulting in trial in her case in Cumberland County.

In November 2023, Mcknight was suspended without a salary after the court of court behavior claimed that it had violated the judicial batch that arises from the previous case of inconsistent behavior that included traffic stop in 2020. However, she was exempt from criminal charges.

Mcknight did not face the 2019 incident charges in which she shot her alienated husband after asking him to come to her home to help move the furniture, Pennlive.com previously reported. Investigators considered an incident self -defense.

After Mcknight conviction, the trial judge rejected the request from her defense asking her to be released. She is facing up to 60 years in prison and should be convicted on May 28.
