AND New York Islanders Minor League was suspended in 10 games for abusing a clerk after sending a referee who flew to the plates over the weekend.
The attacker on Bridgeport Adam Beckman, 23 years old, will miss the rest of the regular season, with only five games left after being suspended American hockey league Player Safety Committee on Wednesday.

“Beckman was suspended according to the provisions of AHL Rules 40.3 for physical abuse of official (category II),” the public statement said. “Beckman will miss the last five matches of BridgePort in the 2024-25 regular season, as well as the next five matches for which he is active on the AHL club list.”
The game happened during the third period of the match against Charlotte Checkers Saturday.

Beckman was in the Charlotte zone when he appeared to slide into officially. Then he seemed to push the official backwards, which sent him straight into the ice and in the plates. The incident attracted a sharp reaction of the fans who attended.
Beckman stayed with an official while the team coach came to check him. According to reports, the clerk managed to return and move on.

The suspension comes less than a month after Beckman bought the islanders in a store with New Jersey Devils. He registered 33 points with a devilish partner team, impact Comets, before he traded.
