Choosing a jury for Retrial Karen Read John O’Keefe continues on Thursday with just one seat on Thursday about the murder and other accusations in the death of his boyfriend.
The court requires 12 jurors who are thinking of four replacements.

Second trial Karen Read goes on a weekend without a full jury
On Wednesday, Justice Ketanja Brown Jackson denied that Read’s petition was to stop the murder trial as long as the Supreme Court considering his request.

Read declared that she was not guilty and expressed his innocence in both courts and beyond, sitting for more media and insisting that she did not kill O’Keefe.
Her defense raised the possibility that someone else beat him to death and left him in the cold. They also questioned the nature of the injuries found on his right hand.

In addition to injuries on his face, head and hands, he had a series of cuts and piercing wounds on his hand.
O’Keefe was found on the front lawn of another Boston police officer who has since withdrawn, Brian Albert. The omissions in the initial investigation led to the external audit of the local police department in Kanton, Massachusetts, where Albert lived at the time.
