Hedge funds have coped with tariff turmoil by de-risking, says Bank of England

The Bank of England says that after Donald Trump’s tariff on Donald Trump last week, the hedge funds were able to fight against the financial markets after their investment portfolio risks.

Central bank officials said that “the possibility of hostile events” has increased and the UK’s open economy, especially in contact with the turmoil of the financial market, imposed tariffs on many of its business partners.

But BoAfter his quarterly meeting on Wednesday, the Financial Policy Committee said: “Although the mergin calls face to fund the funds after April 2, they were still able to meet them so far, which could make the market fluidity even wider.”
