EXCLUSIVE: Republican Sens. Jim Risch and Tommy Tuberville They invite governors across the country to follow the executive order of President Donald Trump so that men are from female sports while demanding an action at the state level to ensure that athletes “get the same guarantee of righteousness throughout the country.”

“Most Americans agree that biological men should not be allowed to compete in women’s sports,” they wrote, saying that the executive order “enhances the basic truth: women and girls deserve evenly a playground where they can compete and perform in athletics.”
“Science is clear that biological differences between men and women are significant and must be recognized in athletic competition … The protection of women’s categories is crucial for the preservation of the rights and opportunities that generations of women fought for insurance.”
Risch and Tuberville wrote that “wrong policies” “robbed too many women of their earned athletic opportunities and success and forced them into unpleasant and even insecure situations.”
“The state -level action is vital to secure American athletes to receive the same guarantee of righteousness across the country,” they wrote, applauding countries that have taken “meaningful measures” in the president’s executive order to show their “clear dedication to the righteousness, security and future of female sports.”

Risch and Tuberville invite countries that have not yet taken measures to “take the necessary steps to immediately reconcile with the executive order of President Trump.”
Risch and Tuberville said they were “ready to partner with governors and state leaders to implement policies that protect women and girls in sports.”
“Together, we will ensure that progress in the expansion and strengthening of women’s athletic opportunities continues in decades to come,” they wrote.

Risch and Tuberville have introduced the Law on the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Law in Senate to codify Trump’s executive order.
Risch and Tuberville also recently sent a letter to the International Olympic Committee, urging him to protect the possibilities for athletes during the Olympic Games. In addition, they wrote NCAA asking for clarification about his attitude about the privacy and safety of athletes in female locker rooms.
