Van Houten walked freely in 2023 after serving for more than 50 years in California’s prison for the killings of Labiancas, making her the only member of the Manson family released from prison.
While Manson actually never performed the killings he was closed, Paucock’s documentary “Make” Make “Frafy Manson” revealed that he may have committed more killings.

“I would never draw a line and say that Charlie Manson could manipulate people to make his offers, but he would never do it,” O’Toole said. “I would never draw that line. You can’t simply say that Charlie hurt other people part of his repertoire. So whether someone else did it or did it do it alone, it is certainly something that has to be explored.”
