Los Angeles Dodgers Pitcher Blake Snell says his home in Seattlu broke through last week.
No one was at home at the time of the burglary. Snell was in Los Angeles the next day for Dodgers’s home opener, which he started.
“I can confirm that our home has recently broke in,” Snell said in a statement, over nbc King 5. “Fortunately, no one has been harmed. We work closely with local authorities and we are incredibly grateful for the quick response and constant support.
“We have safety shots that actively help in the investigation and we are convinced that responsible individuals will be caught and removed from our community. If you know something, say something – contact the local implementation of the law.”

Police were informed of the burglary on March 26, the day before the game. Officers found a broken window when they got home.
Police Commander Edmonds Josh McClure said it was not clear if anything had been stolen because “obviously there were some high items that stayed there.”
Snell’s home was shattered the same week as former Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman in a nearby King district. The houses are separated by a 6 -kilometer ferry ride.

“Of course, there is always a possibility that they are connected. We do not have enough information to say they are connected,” McClure said.

Snell, a double winner of the CY Young Award, has signed a five -year contract of $ 162 million with Dodgers in off -season, joined the already complex team. The Dodgers home opener was their third game of the regular part of the season after playing two games in Tokyo at the beginning of the month.
