Last season, Merrill played in 156 games and hit .292 with 24 home runs, 90 RBI and 16 stolen bases while playing a strong defense at the Field Center. In seven post -season games, Merrill hit .250 with one run and five RBI.
Merrill started campaign in 2025 as she swung with a hot stick and hit .400 with one run in the house and six RBI, helping Padres powered to a 6-0 start.
