Vance’s criticism refers to more than only Europe, as populist leaders around the world face legal problems from direct prohibitions of choice to Criminal verdicts.
Here are the top populist leaders facing the most pressure.
Right -wing French politician Marina Le Pen and several members of her party Ascendent National Rally were convicted of embezzlement on Monday, and she was forbidden to run in the 2027 presidential election.
Populist leaders from across Europe condemned the verdict, pointing to her significant leadership at the polling station.
“Those who are afraid of voters’ judgment are often demanding certificate from the courts. In Paris, they condemned Marine Le Pen and would like to remove it from political life,” said Italian deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini after Le Pen’s verdict.
“We’re not intimidated,” he added. “Full speed forward, my friend!”

In the 2019 incident, migrants held offshore on a humanitarian rescue ship. The Italian courts dismissed the charges against Slavinia in December.
“The protection of our country’s border against smuggler is not a crime,” Salvini said shortly after the verdict. “This is a win for the league and Italy.”
Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan was closed last month for corruption charges, although many of his supporters compared his situation with that President Donald Trump and the charges he faced.
Pakistani court condemned Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi at 14 and seven years in prison after finding them guilty of corruption. They were convicted of allegedly accepting the country as a myth through the al-Qadir Trust, which they set up while Khan was in power. Khan, however, maintains its innocence, describing events as “Witch Hunting” in Exclusive Fox News Digital comments. This is just one of the more than 100 cases he is facing.

President Donald Trump faced waves of legal troubles from his political opponents who stretched almost a decade until their first administration.
He first faced the already discredited claims about Russia, before once again faced an impen for negotiating assistance for Ukraine. Once they were out of duty, the Federal and State Governments were targeting his business of investigations, which eventually resulted in his belief for forgery of business records, a judgment that the Allies say was false.
