Wisconsin voters decide to enshrine voter ID law in state constitution


Wisconsin will improve the State Law on Voters in the State Constitution after the voters approved a proposal on Tuesday.

Wisconsin already requires that voters have a photo ID to participate in the polls, but the measure now raises that law into a constitutional amendment.

President Donald Trump He celebrated a law that is added to the state constitution on the truth of social after the vote was called on Tuesday night.

“The voter ID was just approved in the Wisconsin election. Democrats fought hard against it, probably they could cheat. This is a big win for Republicans, perhaps the biggest victory on the night. Nine countries, including Wisconsin, demand that voters represent photography IDs, although Wisconsin’s demands are the strictest, according to the national conference of state legislative bodies. There are laws in 36 countries that require or seek for voters to show some kind of identification, NCSL said.
