Top official applauds red state’s historic legislation to protect election integrity


EXCLUSIVE: Republican Secretary of State Wyoming became famous after the state became the first in the country to bring the legislation that requires proof of citizenship to vote. He called him the “wonderful” development of the integrity of the choice during the Fox News Digital interview.

“This proposal of the Law requires proof of citizenship to register voting and also evidence of the residence for registration of voting, which is a significant proposal of the law that was a priority on our conservative conservative integrity program, which we have made to the general session of 2025 and is indeed the first state in the country to have evidence of citizenship in the State Law,” Wyorming state secretary Chuck Gray told Fox News Digital.

“Since Wyoming has an exemption from the National Law on Voter Registration, which means that we can apply this proof of citizenship to all races, it is also quite strong in that the judgment of the electoral judge can be overpowered, which creates this request for proof of citizenship for the registration of voice.”

The measure, which prescribes voters, shows one of the nine different options that prove citizenship and residence, will become the law 1 of July after the Republican Government Wyoming Mark Gordon allowed his law to become his law without his signature last Friday.

Fox News Digital spoke with Wyoming State Secretary this week.

In a Letter GrayGordon said that he could not sign the law of the law because of several care he documents, including possible legal issues, but admitted that he ultimately offers some “useful improvements” that will allow him to become a law without his signature.

Gray said Fox News Digital that he was convinced that the law would counteract any legal challenges and that he called development “a huge moment for the integrity of the choice for us to be the first state with really this iron proof of citizenship request.”

“This is a huge priority of President Trump and we support President Trump 100%,” Gray said. “Wyoming people here are huge winners here and I think it will have a huge effect on the national level in the sense that this is carried out at the state level, and I hope it will be adopted in the coming weeks on the floor of the Washington House.”

Gray said Fox News Digital, “is in line with what President Trump is doing at the federal level with the Law on Rescue, which, hopefully he will reach upstairs to the congress, and be the first state in the nation that has that iron proof of citizenship. I think it is a wonderful moment to integrate the election, for our country and for our fact.

Trump was a vocal advocate of the Law on the acceptability of the US voter of SaGuard, who seeks to ensure that noncititizens cannot vote in federal elections. Republican legislators Recently renewed Pressure to move that bill through Congress.

Tuesday, Trump signed an executive command demanding people to provide evidence of US citizenship when registering for voting and demand that all ballots be reviewed until the day of the election.

Command requires evidence of US citizenship citizenship on its voter registration forms, directs the Attorney General to conclude agreements on division of information with the state election to identify the election cases or other violations of the Law on Choiceand the conditions of federal elections related to states in accordance with the measures of the integrity of the federal elections.
