“We are particularly concerned that openly discriminatory policies and mandates of the Washington State, State Supervisor Reykdal, OSPI and Wiaa not only directly cause damage to our young women, but also endanger the funding of our district, whose loss would be most pronounced on our brightest and risk.

“This restriction imposed on the State impairs trust between schools and families and unreasonably violating the valuable basic right of parents in leading the development of their children,” the appeal continued.

“Our School Board addressed it, truly trying to find the middle between the state term and the fundamental role of parents. We did so with small changes to state policy that should not offend any reasonable person. However, OSPI took the position that our slight changes (as OSPI interpreted) and sets up it) and it is set up.

Reykdal previously claimed that it was “inaccurate” to say that they were only two sexes during the video address in late February.

“It’s simply inaccurate to say, biological, that there are only boys and there are only girls,” Reykdal said. “There is a continuity. There is science for this. There are children who are Born Intersks. There are children whose hormones and whose chromosomes are not in line with their gender at birth.

“Our state laws clearly show that children can identify and participate on the basis of the gender in which they are identified. We will support the law.”
