Texas man calls 911 on himself after being injured during alleged break-in

Tyler Police Directorate Arrested Jeremiah Megallon after receiving a call from him to injure himself while trying to break into the Patterson Dodge store.

Police say the call arrived at about 3:45 on Thursday from Megallon, who claimed he had just broken into a representation and needed help.

“He said he broke into Patterson Dodge’s MP in an attempt to steal a car but failed to get out of the building,” an information officer Andy Erbaugh told Fox News Digital. “He had cuts from punching windows in MP and crawling through him.”

Erbaugh said Megallon said he was trying to steal a car throwing a rock out the window to get into the building and sat down.

“Unfortunately, there were several unlocked doors for him that could use,” Erbaugh added. “After 26 years here, the truth is strange than fiction.”

Erbaugh said this was not the first time he had been dealing with suspect in his career that he had turned into police.

“A few years ago, I was crimes against a person’s detective, and one of the cases we took was a 75-year-old retired dentist who called to tell us that he had shot and killed his wife,” Erbaugh recalled.

Erbaugh spoke of Dr. Bobby Nichols, who admitted that he had shot his wife Rosalind Nichols after a quarrel when he returned home from the night of drinking in 2012.

“He said,” I’m a retired dentist, and she wouldn’t stop nibbling [me]”” Erbaugh remembered. “He said,” I went out for a beer at the Willowbrook rural club, “which is one of our local clubs, and she didn’t like it.”

Erbaugh recalled Nichols said, “I had another one when I got home, and she wouldn’t stop, so I got my gun and shot her.”

Erbaugh said Nichols was sentenced to 20 years in prison for killing his wife.
