Governor Bursa’s office said that 12 staff members were present at the time of the fire, and several people were hospitalized by smoke inhalation.

The mouth and his father, Yahya mouth – President of the Turkish Skiing and Snowboard Association – were killed on flames. The wife of Yahya is believed to have survived the fire.

President Moo Thomas Bach also announced a statement after the tragic news.
“We learned about the tragic death of the Turkish Olympic skier of Berko’s mouth and his father, in a terrible fire. Berkin lived his Olympic Dream by competing in the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022 in Alpine skiing. Our thoughts are with their family and friends.”
Local officials believe the fire began in the hotel cafeteria. The family stayed on the fifth floor of the hotel, despite the door permanently closed in early January after a accommodation permit was canceled. It was not immediately clear why they were at the hotel.

The fire in a six-story, 30-year-old hotel was extinguished within two hours, but not before the flames swallowed most of the upper floors.
The deadly fire on Thursday comes just a few months after the second Popular ski resort He caught fire in the region, killing 79 people in January.
