Hurd’s friends and family told the police that she and Braxton were friends at the Providence High School, but that they “lost contact for many years.” Recently, Braxton obviously began to appear in Hurd’s residence, they said.

In January, Braxton was re -arrested in Pineville on the charges of breaking and resisting a police officer. The Sheriff of the Mecklenburg County Office took him to custody.
