President Donald Trump She invited Vladin Maine Janet Mills to apologize to him for the reluctance of her state to follow her executive order for the ban on the transcedence from a athlete from girls over the weekend, and Mills now answered without an apology.
Mills spoke with reporters in Bangor on Monday, refusing Trump and insisting The reluctance of her state Following his executive order is rooted in the “rule of law.”
“My question is about the rule of the law, clean and simple,” Mills said. “These are not transgender sports; these are who adopts the laws and who enforces the laws. I read the Constitution. The Constitution says that the President, the Executive Director, will make sure that the laws are true. This does not allow him to pass laws from the entire Tweet fabric or Instagram by publishing or a statement for the public or an executive order.”
Mills also condemned Trump for his attitude about abortion and tariffs, and never headed to the president by name.

“We have seen politics threatening women and girls across the country,” Mills said. “If the current White House tenant wants to protect women and girls, he should begin with the protection of women and teenage girls who suffer from abortion and die because they cannot obtain basic, rescue health care in countries across the country.
“Look, the problem is not about transgender sports. People in Maine and across the country are waiting for an economic plan from the current White House tenant. And so far we have not seen none. We have seen the tariffs and threats of tariffs threatening our economy here in Maine and across the country.”
Trump’s initial request for an apology from Mills on Saturday morning came to the social place of truth.
“While the Maine State apologized for a strong governor, but completely inaccurate, a statement about men playing in women’s sports while we were at a conference of a white house governor, we didn’t hear from the governor himself, and she is the one that is important in such cases” Trump said.
“Therefore, we need a full apology from the governor himself, and a statement that she will never again bring such an illegal challenge to the Federal Government, before this case can be resolved. I am sure that she will be able to do so very easily. Thank you for the attention to that thing and, she will do America again !!!
The feud between the two began on February 20th, when Trump threatened to reduce federal funding to the state because he did not ban transcending athletes from girls and female sports, during the GOV GOP Governor.
The next day, Mills answered by a statement that threatened a legal procedure against Trump’s administration if it took away the state funding. At that time, Trump and Mlinovi verbally paired into a widely published argument in the White House during a double -sided Governor meeting.
“Will you not adhere to that?” Trump asked Mills.
“I comply with state and federal laws,” she replied, before Trump said, “Well, we are federal law.”
“You better do it. You better do it because you won’t get federal financing at all if not,” he continued. “And by the way, your population, although it is a bit liberal – although I have done very well there – your population does not want men to play in women’s sports, so you better adhere to because otherwise you do not get federal financing.”
“See you in court,” Mills replied.
“Okay, see you in court. I look forward to it. It should be really easy. And enjoy your life after the governor, because I don’t think you will be in a chosen politics,” Trump concluded.
The Ministry of Education announced an investigation by the IX title against Maine just hours later.
Since then, more protests against Mills were held outside the capital of the state, and the MAINE university system collaborated with Trump’s administration to ensure that no athletes compete in women’s sports after a temporary break for financing.
Last week, Office for Civic Rights for Health and Human Services (OCR) Officially announced He discovered that the Maine Department of Education, the Association of Principal Maine and Greely High School, violated the title of IX due to its continuous allowance of transition to the sports involvement in girls.

Girls deserve sports only for girls without men’s competitors. And if Maine will not reach the table to voluntarily respect the title IX, HHS will impose on the title IX.
