Former Men’s Men’s Football Star Landon Donovan did not make words while reacting to America Concacaf League nation loss from Canada in the match in third place.
Canada Beat the US, 2-1. The Americans finished their League of Nations with two consecutive defeats-other arrival against Panama, who knocked them out in the match for third place, instead of going to the title of national leagues.

The US football team was highlighted because of its young talent, but no coach was able to unlock the ability to create real waves on the global stage. The US failed to influence Copa America last summer, which eventually ended the mandate of Gregg Berhalter.
Current coach Mauricio Pochettino is hired to push 2026 World Cup, But the losses threw cold water upon his arrival.
Donovan finished hearing about the talent on the list.
“I’m so sick when I hear that” talented “this group of players and all the amazing clubs they play for,” Donovan wrote on X. “If you won’t show up and actually give as!%* About playing for your national team, refuse an invitation. Talent is great, pride is better.”
Pochettino said that if the team was fighting in a year, he would sound alarm, but he wasn’t ready for it yet.

“It’s all a process that we have to change and I don’t want to say I’m happy – don’t go wrong,” Pochettino said. “But if (there) something negative in (a) a result, something to learn, now it’s better, because I think we have time.”
Fortunately for Americans, they are already at the 2026 World Cup now, because it is hosting events. Pochettino said there is still time.
“We have not been able to discover and try to expand our strategy on that, the ability to play otherwise,” Pochettino said. “I think we have time. I prefer it to happen today, not in one year.”
Now they have been 5-3 since Pochettino took power.

The loss from Canada on Sunday night was the first time that Americans lost a competitive match with Canada on US soil since 1957. Men have not lost matches back to Canada since 1980 and 1985.
