Top -notch Male basketball Auburn The team beat Alabama State in the introductory round of the NCAA Division and a male basketball tournament.
The Tigers then defeated Creighton on Saturday in the second round to progress to the sweet 16, but before the Sec Powerhouse Run March Off off, Auburn Great Charles Barkley expressed his support from one of the current team stars.
Barkley, who makes comments while broadcasting tournament games, believes that Johnna Broome will surpass him in Auburn Lore if he can lead the tigers to their first national championship.

“If he manages to complete the trip, I would say that (Broome) is the biggest player in Auburn Basketball History,” Barkley said during a broadcast on Thursday. “I honestly think. What he did for the program, he and coach (Bruce) Pearl and these guys were amazing. But if they could win the national championship, listen to man, it would be great.
Barkley then pointed to Auburn’s appearance in Final Four in 2019, declaring it the best season of the program to this day.

“And I would say this, I said when they were placed in Final Four a few years ago, this is the biggest season in the history of Auburn Basketball. If he manages to win the championship, I would say that he is the greatest player in the history of Auburn Basketball … … He is better than me in college.”
Auburn faced a doubt that led to this year’s tournament for the team fighting at the end of the regular season. The Tigers lowered the games back to Texas A&M and Alabama earlier this month.

Tennessee surpassed Auburn in the semi -finals of the Sec’s tournament. Volunteers eventually fell on Florida in SEC Championship in the tournament game.
Barkley pointed to the quality of the opponents who beat Auburn. “They didn’t lose to the Providence,” he said. “They lost in three schools ranked in the top 10 to 15. And they listen, there is no disrespect for providers. Don’t blow. … They lost to Alabama on the buzz, and they are number 2 or 3 seeds. That’s why they don’t worry. They lost three teams that are in the first 15 countries.”
