Attending President Donald Trump to Ncaa championship in wrestling encouraged the strong reactions of the competitors.

“It’s a great honor for a wrestling sport,” Josh Barr of Penn State said on Friday. “The wrestling sport is where he needs growth. He needs a life and energy behind him, and President Trump brings him.

Barr’s teammate, Mitchell Mesenbrink, told reporters on Friday that, regardless of politics, he believes that Trump’s presence will help improve viewership.

“We want to list people to watch, don’t we? We want people to watch wrestling. We want people to direct, not just money, but a time of people and attention is money. So, I think it’s okay. And I think it would be conservative or liberal, it would be really cool,” Messenbrink said.
“Democrat or Republican, whoever it is, is the president of the United States. The free world leader at our wrestling event is really cool when you think about it.”
Trump praised Penn State on Friday and all the wrestlers outside the white house when he spoke about the presence of the championship.
“We’re going to a big fight. The reason I go is to Philadelphia. They have NCAA, World, Wrestling for college. And I always supported wrestlers,” Trump said. “So I want to support them. These are great wrestlers at colleges from different schools. I think Penn State leads, and Nebraska is currently in second place. And a lot of good things.”

The wrestling championship is Return to Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center For the first time in 2011, when Penn State won everything. This began the dominant ride of Nittany lions that continues. They won 11 of the last 13 titles, including the last three.
With a victory on Saturday, it would be their third four peat during that part.
