Fate: What’s the best investment you buy?
A flat in Brussels, where I’m from. I bought it 2 years ago, and it was a useful investment since one day, as the rent contains more than I debt. I have done some renovating to make it more efficient power so that the value increases, and maybe it will keep good. It’s a little job, but I want to build things done at the end.
And the worst?
Nothing yet. I’m lucky.
What are your living arrangements such as: Swanky apartment in the city or suburban Srawling?
I live in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin. Regarded as a calm, trendy, family neighbor, with many small cafes and yoga studios. My flat is filled with art and scandinavian vintage furniture. I always try to give up anywhere I live in progress. In fact, it’s in the center why I started to foolacado.
Back to 2021, when I moved before the end of the pandemic season, I won’t go to a store and buy the second hand tools. So I started doing online and realized how clunky and time consumed in experience. Same for clothes, books and electronics.
How do you commute to work?
By bike! I’m biking at least one hour a day. It keeps me fit and refreshes my mind. I don’t own a car (and hope I don’t need).
Did you bring a wallet?
I rarely have cash. My favorite bank tomorrow, a sustainable bank that invests my money in social and environmental projects. In addition, their cards are very beautiful.
Do you invest in parts?
I play around the Trade Republic somewhat. I say changed energy companies that are very good at the moment, for example. Also, eBayBecause I believe the second hand is the future, and eatBecause it’s one of the products that just makes life better.
I don’t give any one’s topic advice, but I say it’s a good tool to improve the businesses you understand and believe in the future of our economy.
What personal financial advice can give your 20-year-old?
Where is your go-to wristwatch from?
I still wear the one I bought 15 years ago with salary from my first student job. I heard that it’s not worth my vintage rapidity Necklace, but I don’t care.
How do you get your daily coffee repair?
No capsules. My perfect boycott nespresso and Starbucks. But I am a fan of all brands of coffee behavior. The real people pay the farmers behind the coffee beans. I took me from the coffe circle, in Berlin. I have a very simple bialetti moka machine at home, and we have a proper delica arye esprese esress machine in the office (second dose for our daily cappuccinos.
“Don’t store experiences and students. The things that make you grow always a good investment.”
What about the go on go?
I went out everyday, usually some team members or invested. Berlin offers strange lunch options at 5 to 12 euros, and as I hated cook, I have not seen it can’t eat. I usually go for a salad, falafel, italian pizza, or sushi. I don’t need fancy darling food, only quality ingredients and good vegetarian choices to be happy.
Where can you buy groceries?
In the local organic farmers market, on Saturday morning.
How often in a week do you advertise against cooking at home?
It used to be 4-5 days of food for dinner, but now we have Hellsofresh that gives good healthy recipes at home. So we can cook again.
Where do you buy for your work closet?
I bought most of my wardrobe closet and things I needed, so I shop at sales resorts (mainly faircado) and find outstanding pieces in such a way. I wore the second hand céline, Maje des Garçons, Chloé, Sézane, Sézane, Sésøe Studica, etc. The more important thing.
If I buy new things (rare) to support small labels in a designer fairly, well made in Europe.
What is a typical work tool for you?
Navy Blue T-Shirt, many good jeans, Chloé boots / Birkenstock Boston.
Are you the proud owner of any futuristic gadgets?
No. I find most gadgets that are useless. The only futuristic thing I bought is my cube Nuroad gravel bike, at smokylilac’n’black. But I say it is more than a piece of art. A beautiful and useful piece of art.
How do you get tough from the highest job?
My weekly therapy, journal, a good run, a kind of yoga, a drawing class, a dinner with my partner and / or with friends.
“I found most gadgets that are worthless.”
How do you treat yourself when you get a promotion?
I try not to buy things for this. If I had something to celebrate, I made things that gave me happiness: groaning my friends, eating a nice restaurant, going to a concert or party.
How many days is the annual leave you took a year?
I don’t know. I never fully travel and travel a lot for work, so it’s hard to say.
I spent a month in Rwanda (traveling around the national parks and worked from the odd norren house of Kigali) to avoid the Greyness in Berlin this winter. What makes me feel that people here as a happier than to get home. A good reminder to what we need: water, some food, roof, strong communities, singing and laughing, and a beautifully preserved environment. Thus is the best recipe for happiness.
