You never know what you will see when watching the ball game.
During Los Angeles Dodgers’ 6-3 victory over Chicago Cubs in Tokyo dome on Wednesday, former NFL striker Rodney Peete found himself in the middle of an action.
Outfielder Ian Happ hit during the sixth inning, and Dodgers increased 6-3 at the time.

In a separate post on X, Peete said he was in Japan because he was a fan of Dodgers, and his son was a club home for Dodgers.

Peete was a two -sport star to USC as an attacker and striker. Peete was selected four times in the MLB draft (1984, 1988, 1989, 1990), but he chose football.

Dodgers and Cubs played two games in Japan in the Tokyo series to start the MLB 2025 season. Dodgers won both games to start defending the World Series title.
