During Los Angeles Dodgers’ 6-3 victory over Chicago Cubs in Tokyo dome on Wednesday, former NFL striker Rodney Peete found himself in the middle of an action.
Outfielder Ian Happ hit during the sixth inning, and Dodgers increased 6-3 at the time.

Happ hit a high jump window that broke from a bad territory to the stands. Dodgers’ third basic man Max Muncy reached over the net to try to get out of the way out.
However, Peete, who accidentally sat in the stands, stretched out his glove and scored the ball. Mancy lifted his glove and checked it before he realized he had no ball and shook his head frustrated.
After Peete grabbed the ball ball, he pulled his glove behind his back and looked casually at Mancy.

In a separate post on X, Peete said he was in Japan because he was a fan of Dodgers, and his son was a club home for Dodgers.

Peete was a two -sport star to USC as an attacker and striker. Peete was selected four times in the MLB draft (1984, 1988, 1989, 1990), but he chose football.
Peete, 59, played for six teams in NFL during his 15-year career: Detroitic lionsPhiladelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, then-Washington Redskins and then-Oakland Raiders.
Dodgers and Cubs played two games in Japan in the Tokyo series to start the MLB 2025 season. Dodgers won both games to start defending the World Series title.
