Jon Stewart stood up in the leader of Senate minorities Chuck Schumer, Dn.y., and Democratic party because he is ineffective in opposing President Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress.
The “Daily Show” host scored Schumer and his party on Monday night after 10 Democrats, including Schumer, voted with the Republicans for a continuous solution (CR) to keep the Federal Government open on Friday.
Stewart compared the Democratic Party to a stationary bicycle, “Pedallation very hard and not going anywhere” after missing a few months to block President Donald Trump agenda in the midst of the 2024 election.
The host of the late night played a Schumer clip from 2019, where he claimed that he had talked to the Republican Party “all the time” in the gym, setting Stewart for a crack in the Senator.

Earlier in the show, Stewart said sarcastically to his audience that he was “not afraid”, because Democrats finally have the opportunity to counteract Trump, which he marked “Wannabe to Tiranin”.
“But don’t be afraid! Since Democrats, put on the back leg, they finally have the opportunity to get up and show off their dyspired party to still have a principle and backbone to face that tyrant,” Stewart ridden.

Schumer claimed in A recent New York Times interview If Trump’s numbers had fell below 40%after Trump’s numbers, Republican legislators would have started working with democrats. He noted that with Trump at 48%, they should “stick to” until the president’s approval falls.
Stewart replied to the comments, saying to his audience: “Obviously, the big plan is, Dems is held, regardless of the fact that 48 approvals do not descend to 40, which is a plan. But forgets one key information in Schumer’s popularity.”
The host of a late night showed a clip from MSNBC revealing that “only 27% of voters have a positive view of the party. The smallest assessment of favorable in history NBC -‘s survey. ”
Stewart made fun of democrats because of a poor number.
“You have 27%! You have to get Trump to lose eight popularity points to get to the point where you only have 13 points below it! Your approval is only seven points above where it becomes red and goes into a small power mode,” Stewart Ribbed.
