Trump’s administration asked Supreme Court On Thursday, it is to intervene and allow a narrow version of his executive order forbidding his nationality of birth to move forward, causing three prohibitions throughout the country brought to Maryland, Massachusetts and Washington State.
Referees in these countries immediately moved to block Trump’s command for the prohibition of citizenship right of birth, which he signed on the first day in power. All three courts blocked the verdict across the country – something that Trump’s administration claims to be excessively wide.
On Thursday’s submission on Thursday, acting lawyer Sarah Harris said the courts had left too far and asked the Supreme Court judge to limit the scope of the judgment to cover only individuals to which the relevant courts had directly influenced.

“These cases – which include challenges to the president’s executive order in 2025 in connection with nationality of birth – raise important constitutional issues with great consequences for the border insurance,” Harris wrote.
“But at this stage, the Government comes to this court with a ‘modest’ request: while litigation parties deserve questions on tested questions, the court should ‘limit the scope of’ more preliminary bans that ‘PURPOR'[t] To cover every person in the country, “limiting these bans to parties actually within the power of the courts.”
To date, no court has been on the side of the Executive Command of Trump’s Administration that sought to ban citizenship of the right of birth, although more district courts blocked to take effect.
The Ministry of Justice, for its part, sought to characterize the command as “an integral part of the wider effort of President Trump to repair the immigration system of the United States and address the continuous crisis at the southern border.”
