UK to convene ‘coalition of the willing’ for fresh talks on Ukraine peace force

Sir Care Starmer will convene a meeting of countries wishing to help protect the ceasefire agreement in Ukraine on Saturday, as military plans for peacekeeping operations intensified.

The UK Prime Minister will host a virtual meeting to call him “Will of the Willing” – originally willing to help protect the peace treaty between Kiev and Moscow, a group of European and Commonwealth countries.

Downing Street said on Monday that the right participants have not yet been confirmed. British officials said last week that “about 20” countries are discussing how they can support Ukraine when the country is fighting.
