Three Bulgarians linked to Wirecard’s Marsalek found guilty of spying for Russia

Three Bulgarian citizens have been convicted for spying for Russia in Old Bailey, London, police in the case have described as the most significant spies in Britain for decades.

Katrin Ivanova (1), Vania Gaberova (3) and Tahomi Ivanchev (1) were convicted of a spy conspiracy on Friday.

After more than 4 hours of the jury, Ivanova was also convicted of keeping misinterpretation documents.

Prosecutors said that the trio was part of a spy ring that was directed by Rupt Tizz, under the direction of former Wirecard chief operating officer, Jan Marsalek, between 2020 and 2023.

Marsalek is believed to be appointed by the Russian detective in the 21st and fled to Moscow after the fraudulent activity of the payment group was published in 2021.

Telegram messages shown in the court suggested that Marsalec – who did not face themselves – they were responsible for the Russian military intelligence and domestic intelligence agencies.

The court was told that Marsalec had ordered Ringlin, Orlean Roussev (46) of the group from its Russian authorities, and the court was told. Roussev and Bisar Digbazov, 43, Prayer Before the trial began.
