It seems that Zelenskyy’s emphasis on peace is a response to Trump’s accusation that the Ukrainian leader had no interest in this after last week’s oval office conflict.

“I found that President Zelenskyy is not ready for peace if America is involved, because he believes our involvement gives a great advantage in negotiations. I do not want to advantage, I want peace. He unknown United America in her gentle oval office. He can come back when he is ready for peace,” and Trump heated at a top meeting.
