Jaguari Jacksonville allegedly made a store with Houston TexansSending a wide veteran Christian Kirk to his rival AFC South.
Houston receives the selection of the seventh round of 2026, which originally belonged to Los Angeles Rams, in exchange for Kirk, according to The Athletic.
The store comes the day after the news broke Jaguari Planned to release Kirk, who missed the last nine games of the 2024 season due to the broken collarbone.

The move would save Jacksonville $ 10.7 million against their salary, Spotrac said. The store does the same thing as he adds a draft selection.
Kirk will hit the highest cap of teams this season at $ 24.4 million, while paying him a salary of $ 15.5 million, he states to the spot. But the new General Director James Gladstone, who joined the New Jags regime, February 21 to be paired with the head coach Liam Coen, obviously shows that he is not afraid to make moves, even to the divisional rival.

Kirk quickly developed a relationship with the attacker Trevor Lawrence after a four -year contract was signed in that campaign, $ 72 million in the amount of $ 72 million, registering heights in his career (84), yard (1,108) and Touchdowns (eight) in that campaign.
However, his abdominal injury cost him five games in 2023, and a huge bone fracture limited him to eight games in the third year of his agreement.

The appearance of Novak Brian Thomas Jr. -a as a clear upper receiver to build a passing game, as well as Parker Washington, who plays well from the grooves in Kirk’s absence, leaves Jaguars in a good place, despite veterans of seven years of moving to a different team.
For Texas, Kirk’s addition makes sense given the tank dell, their fast, young receiver, will probably miss the entire season of 2025. After breaking ACL, MCL and LCL and dislocating the knees in the game against Kansas City Chiefs in December.
Kirk could miss the time because of his own recovery from the collarbone injury, but it is not expected that the entire 2025 campaign will be out.
The Tekzans were still able to add to their passing game because it is Stefon Diggs, who built a great chemistry with a return CJ Stroud before the injury ended the season, a free agent on the market this season.

Through seven seasons, four with Cardinals in Arizona, who took him to 47th in the NFL draft 2018, Kirk has 236 admission for 2,902 Jardes and 17 Touchdown incomes in 56 career games.
