Texas Government Greg Abbott, a Republican, signed a bill of law in 2023 by banning the gender transportation for transgender young people after approved by this measure state legislative body.
The law was challenged at the Supreme Court in Texas, with a lawsuit that sought to block the law, claiming that the prohibition had pernicious consequences for transgender teenagers who were unable to obtain the treatment recommended by their doctors and parents, according to Fox 7.

But the court confirmed the ban last summer in a decision 8-1. Only one justice was not separated, saying that the State Supreme Court allowed the state to “legislable fundamental parental rights.”
Texas is one of at least 25 countries with laws that limit or prohibit the treatment of gender transgender minors.
