The second flight originating from Charlotte in North Carolina, in the same day, returned after reporting a mechanical issue shortly after taking off.
Delta air lines Flight 3067 took off from Charlotte Douglas International Airport at about 10:15 on the way to the International Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, Fox News Digital airline.
In a few minutes, a mechanical question was reported in the flight and the plane returned to Charlotte.

“After safety procedures, the DL3067 flight crew returned to Charlotte after reporting a mechanical question while she was on her way to Atlanta,” said Delta spokesman. “We apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel plans.”
None of 71 passengers and five crew members were injured, the airline said.
Passengers are reserved on other flights to Atlanta.

Airport officials said the pilot broke off the “ambulance” after the aircraft landed, Queen City News reported.
