Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., calls out Biden administration for spending over a trillion taxpayer dollars on “government waste” this year, including on a bearded lady cabaret show, Arabic Sesame Street and “girl-focused climate action.”
The Senator from Kentucky released its annual “Festivus” report detailing the various ways the current administration spent taxpayer dollars over the course of the year.
The 2024 Festivus Waste Report found that the Biden-Harris administration spent over $1 trillion this year, including a $10,000 grant for “Beards on Ice” — an ice skating drag show about climate change put on by the Bearded Ladies Cabaret, an independent organization described as a “queer cabaret art organization”.
Additionally, the Agency for International Development (USAID) spent $20 million on a Sesame Street spin-off series in Iraq called “Ahlan Simsim,” in an effort to promote “inclusivity” and “mutual respect.”

“Now, did the government really need to spend nearly half a million dollars to prove that social isolation and starvation can lead to increased drug use? One thing is for sure, we must end this rat wheel of waste!” Paul wrote in the report.
The State Department spent $3 million on “Girls-Focused Climate Action” in Brazil, a program allegedly designed to “empower young women to become climate leaders by integrating equity and inclusivity into environmental activism,” the report said, detailing the grant.

“While average American taxpayers struggle to pay their rent, their hard-earned dollars are ironically being funneled into more real estate,” the report said, referring to Biden struggling to spend $10 billion to maintain and furnish buildings that were nearly completely empty.

The senator also mentioned that the Biden administration gave $2.1 million to fund the Paraguayan border: “Nothing says ‘America First’ like securing someone else’s border,” Paul wrote.
