National Security Advisor Mike Waltz told Fox News That Ukraine He should “reduce” his criticism of President Donald Trump and sign an economic contract that he believes to be “the best guarantee of the security they could ever hope for.”
Waltz talked about “Fox & Friends” the day after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy suggested Trump is in the “disinformation space” regarding peace negotiations with Russia. Trump responded by calling Zelenskyy “dictator without choice,” writing in the social post of the truth that “Zelenskyy is better off moving quickly or not having a country.”
“Why do we get this return and certainly this kind – as the vice president said, bad in the press – because all the administrations made it in its first term, and all the United States for Ukraine are simply unacceptable. They have to reduce it and hard to look at and sign the job “, Waltz said of Ukraine on Thursday.
“There’s obviously a lot of frustration here,” he added. “Vice President Vance was a very frustrated departure [last week’s] Munich safety conference. Our cashier’s secretary who traveled all the way to Kiev is also frustrated, obviously at the top of the president, who makes his frustration well known and this is because we have presented the Ukrainians an incredible and historical opportunity to have the United States of America investment in Ukraine, invest in his economy, They invest in their natural resources and really become a partner in the future of Ukraine in a way that is sustainable, but I would also think that the best security guarantee is that They could ever hope, much more than another ammunition palette. ”
