The US Catholic Bishop Conference (USCCB) sued President Donald Trump’s administration for stopping the refugee relocation program on Wednesday.
The USCCB application is joined by Litaniya lawsuits asking block Trump From the completion of financing for various government programs and agencies. The lawsuit is related to the 1980 refugee law, according to which USCCB worked in tandem with the US government to move over 930,000 refugees, the lawsuit claims.
“For decades, the US government has decided to acknowledge refugees and surpassed its legal responsibility to provide these refugees with the help of moving to non-profit organizations such as USCCB,” Catholic Heralda said.
“But now, after refugees and placed in USCCB care arrived, the Government is trying to get a rug from Under USCCB, stopping financing,” continued.

The Office for Population, Refugees and Migrations of State Department issued a letter to the program for the program shortly after Trump entered the duty, although USCCB claims that the letter made it clear that the department would compensate for the USCCB for its work by January 24.
The USCCB lawsuit also claims that it did not receive compensation until January 24 and that it was illegal for Trump’s administration to unilaterally interrupt Congressia approved funding.
The conference noted that freezing funds forced them to start with the growing 50 of their employees focused on the relocation of refugees.

The lawsuit comes for days after the federal judge issued a command that forced Trump administration To raise three -week freezing funds for the American side of help last week.
