Special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff issued a warning to families for returning to Gaza. Trump’s administrative official, who visited the territory, described the state of destruction on ‘Sunday morning future‘And urged people not to come back because of caring for their safety.
Maria Business: … Can you tell us a little what you were witnessing about, including to see some of these caves and tunnels?
Steve Witkoff: … I felt it was important to go to Gaza. And why? Because the first phase, the first phase execution was an achievement. There were a lot of people who needed to work hard to achieve this, but what would always be more complex was the implementation of the first phase, which meant the Nazarene line, the Philadelphia corridor, as people cross Security procedures, and a small small blow in the first phase could end the whole first phase. So now we have been able to successfully start with it, and I felt there is no way to go, unless you are someone [who] In fact he was on the premises in Gaza.
What I saw was alarming. He is completely devastated and the question is, should people be allowed there in such dangerous conditions? Thank God we didn’t have any incidents, but there are 30,000 non -exploded shells throughout Gazi and the buildings are all down. It is extreme destruction. There are all kinds of problems. This is influenced by the third phase, which is the theoretical reconstruction of gauze. We will have to come up with renovation, but the devil will be in detail about the main plan, about how we examine all the underground that has been developed. So many problems with that. With all this, I saw the movie of what happened on October 7th, which was a terrible movie. So, I have some context and that was important to me.

Maria Business: … President Trump talked to King Jordan, who agreed to accept sick children. But the rest and mostly all regional partners said they did not really want to accept those people who currently live in Gaza.
Steve Witkoff: … I think Gaza is a truly rough place to come back to. I think that the families returning there, thinking that there is a light renovation process, that they were deceived at some level, and I think it is part of the message of President Trump that we do not want people to return there, injured, are injured, God forbid, killing, killing SE, because the building inadvertently falls on them or, God forbid, they, a child who plays on the streets, touches an unexploded ammunition, and he explodes, and he loses his hands or hands or any of them or any of them, you know, terrible things that could happen.
It’s a point, and I think the president’s solution is how we address where people can go 2 million people … and I think they are obvious answers in some aspects, Egypt; in some aspectsJordan; But in some aspects, other countries that called us voluntarily said: ‘This is a humanitarian effort, we want to help you. We want to participate in this humanitarian effort. ‘And I think that should be boasted.
