“I firmly believe that in global world-class cities like our-we do big things,” Bowser told residents. “We have art and culture, fun, nightlife and sports. We have great neighborhoods and we can invite the world to our city. But the fact is that until we have a modern stadium, we will not be able to host the events that The The The The World is used to.”

The mayor said she was dedicated to cooperation with the commanders because she wants to convince the franchise that the construction of the stadium within the city borders is the best alternative. Bowser also vowed to achieve the conditions on the stadium agreement that would be useful to those living in the community.
The chief owner of the commander Josh Harris did not make any public statements about his preferred place of the stadium, but admitted that the team could end up playing in DC, Maryland or nearby Virginia.
