A car manufacturer Zeekr and autonomous driving technology Waymo has joined forces to create a revolutionary autonomous vehicle designed specifically for driving services.
The result of this collaboration is Zeekr RT, the first worldwide produced, deliberately built an autonomous vehicle, which is now ready to deliver WayMo for robotaxes testing.
This partnership combines Zeekr’s expertise in the production of electric vehicles with Waym’s advanced self-employment technology.

Zeekr rt is equipped with an impressive string of 13 camerasFour Lidar units, six radar sensors and external audio receivers, securing a 360 degree environment. In order to maintain optimal performance in various weather conditions, Zeekr RT has a specially designed system that will maintain its sensors clean. From drawing panel to reality
Traveling from concept to production was quickly and impressive. Zeekr RT was designed and developed in Zeekr’s R&D facility, CEVT (China Europe Technology Vehicle) in Gothenburg, Sweden. Waymo tested the prototype versions of Zeekr RT on public roads in San Francisco and Phoenix, with people’s safety drivers at the helm. Mass production of Zeekr RT should start later this year, with initial delivery of WayMo for further testing and validation.

While Waymo prepares to integrate Zeekr RT into his commercial fleet, the future of autonomous riding services in riding looks promising.
