Plane carrying Sec. of State Rubio turns around after experiencing mechanical issue

A plane carried by the Secretary of State Marco Rubio On Thursday night, he was diverted to Andrews’s joint base due to a mechanical problem.

Rubio was on his way to Munich on Thursday night, Germany from Washington, when the plane experienced a mechanical question, said Tammy Bruce spokeswoman.

The plane has turned since and returned to the Andrews joint base.

Bruce said Rubio intended to continue his trip to Germany and the Middle East in another aircraft.
