Minister of Defense Pete Hegsetth On Friday, he addressed the events in Afghanistan, saying that they created the perception of “American weakness”.
During the speech with Ministry of Defense And Pentagon’s workforce during the City Hall on Friday, Hegsetth said that America “deserves responsibility for” events in Afghanistan, October 7th attack on Israel, and a war liberated in Ukraine.
“Haos happens when the perception of American forces is not complete,” Hegsetth said. “Our goal is to re -establish that distraction.”

He talked about three pillars to which he would focus during his term – reviving the warrior ethos, restoring confidence in the army and renewing him by reconciling threats to his abilities and re -establishing the distraction of the defense of the homeland.
Hegsetth also spoke of the theory of broken windows in the police, explaining that neglect of small things in the military could create major problems.

So, Hegsetth said, now he will look back at what happened in Afghanistan.
He added that the department would suit people.
“Not to be retrospective, not for retribution, but to understand what went wrong and why there was no responsibility for that,” Hegsetth said.
