Oleksandr Usyk will fight Tyson Fury tonight in the rematch at the Royal Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event starts at 11:00 ET / 17:00 UK time live on DAZN PPV, but the main event between unified heavyweight champion Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Fury will be around 6:00 PM ET.
Can Fury beat Usyk in a rematch?
The big 281lb Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) will look to avenge his loss to Usyk last May. This could be interesting if it goes to the records or if Fury gets injured like last time. Hopefully there won’t be any controversy like the previous fight between them.
11:00 a.m. ET: Today’s main card LIVE on DAZN PPV
Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2
Moses Itauma vs. Demsey McKean – co-feature
Serhii Bohachuk vs. Ishmael Davis
Johnny Fisher vs. David Allen
Peter McGrail vs Rhys Edwards
Isaac Lowe vs. Lee McGregor
Dylan Collin (vs. Daniel Lapin
Edgar Ramirez vs. Andrii Novitskii
In the co-feature, Queensberry-promoted prospect and heavyweight contender Moses Itauma (10-0, 8 KOs) will face Demsey McKean (22-1, 14 KOs). It’s a fight with less impact than Serhii Bohachuk vs. Ishmael Davis, a middleweight title eliminator for the WBC Junior title. It’s a far better fight than the Itauma-McKean bout.
The 19-year-old Itauma is being moved quickly to put him in position to take over after Fury and Usyk retire. He doesn’t look remotely ready to fight for a world title or take over the top guys spot. It’s understandable why Itauma’s promoters put him in a co-feature to give him some exposure as he’s invisible outside of the UK.
