President Donald Trump He put on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on Sunday to audit after signing the executive command aimed at “drastic” improvement of the efficiency, priority and competencies of the Agency.
Trump’s executive order is established by the FEMA audit council, which will consist of a maximum of 20 members and will be suppressed by the Minister of Homeland Security and Defense.
The Council is formed after FEMA in the response to Hurricane Helene and other recent disasters have shown the need to improve “efficiency, priorities and competencies, including an assessment of whether FEMA’s bureaucracy in response to disaster” his ability to successfully answer.

Trump also said that FEMA lost the focus of the mission, diverting limited resources and staff to support missions beyond its scope and authority. The president emphasized that Fema spent more than $ 1 billion welcome to illegal immigrants.

Trump on Friday announced that he plans to revise Fema because North Carolina is still recovering from Hurricane Helena more than 120 days after The storm ravaged the state.
“I will also sign an executive command to begin the process of the basic reform and revision of FEMA, or maybe I get rid of FEMA,” Trump told reporters in North Carolina on Friday morning. “Honestly speaking, I don’t think Fema is not good.”

So far, the American Army Engineering Corps claims that only half of the debris of Hurricane Helena have been over. In addition, thousands of families in North Carolina remain in hotels for which Fema pays bills through their Transitional residential assistance program.
