Novak Djokovic put it all out there.
The Serbian tennis star posted a video of his injured left hamstring on social media early Sunday after to be booed at the Australian Open when he dropped a set in his semifinal. In his press conference, he said he had a muscle tear, but faced criticism from fans on social media who questioned how serious the injury was.
Djokovic appears to have let the backlash get to him, as he posted an image of an MRI taken on Saturday at X to prove the doubters wrong.
“Thought I’d leave this here for all the sports injury ‘experts’ out there,” he wrote.

The veteran tennis star did not offer any additional information, such as the exact diagnosis he may have received or any timeline for his recovery.
The 37-year-old Djokovic retired from his match against Alexander Zverev after losing the first set in a tiebreak on Friday. After shaking hands with Zverev and the table judge, Djokovic picked up his equipment and headed for the locker room.
Some of the spectators at Rod Laver Arena jeered him. Djokovic gave both thumbs up before leaving.

During an on-court interview, Zverev reprimanded those who booed Djokovic.
“I know everyone has paid for their tickets and everyone wants to see, I hope, a great five-set match,” Zverev said. “But you have to understand – Novak Djokovic is someone who has given absolutely everything of his life to this sport in the past 20 years.”
Djokovic was hurt late in the first set of his previous match, a four-set win against Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals on Tuesday night.
Đoković finished that match with a bandage on his upper left leg, and he had a similar bandage at the beginning against Zverev.

“I did everything I could to basically fix the muscle tear I had,” Djokovic said at his press conference on Friday.
“Toward the end of that first set, I just started feeling more and more pain,” he said. “That was too much, I guess, for me at this point. Unfortunate ending, but I tried.”
