Tyson Fury looked like a bearded fictional character Fagin from 1968 Oliver Twist film during today’s final press conference for his rematch against Alexander Usyk this Saturday. He was the spitting image of Fagin.
Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) did not look healthy in his appearance and came across as grumpy, snarling and in a mean mood during his face-to-face trash talk with unified heavyweight champion Usyk (22-0 , 14 KOs).
Usika will probably need a knockout to win because Turki Alalshikh has already told the media that he wants to defeat Fury, so there will be a trilogy. I wonder what Usik thinks about that? It’s in Usyk’s best interest to lose Saturday’s fight because he’ll make more money. Turki would have been better off keeping quiet if he wanted Fury to win because he is a money man.
Anthony Joshua will not fight him after Alexander’s treatment of him in their two fights. The only guy that Usyk can contend with to make a huge dough is Fury. Usyk does not want to lose, but it pays off financially if he is defeated on Saturday.
“All the stories are over.” I’m here to hurt him and put on a good show,” said Tyson Fury iFL TV after today’s final press conference in Riyadh for the rematch with Aleksandar Usik. “Not much.” A lot of shit. “Nothing matters until you’re there that night,” Fury said when asked what was said during today’s showdown with Usyk.
Fury looks hellish on his way back from his loss to Usyk last May, and doesn’t look in good enough shape to accelerate his pace to victory. He won’t be victorious fighting like last time, leaning on the ropes like a big bird, eating Usik’s punches. He has to stay in the center of the ring and fight, but he doesn’t like that he’s physically fit enough to do that.
