Ryan Garcia has posted his reaction to X being ambushed by Bill and Devin Haney at the Ring Awards in London last Saturday night. The Haneys confronted Garcia as he left, and Bill barked, “Bend down.”

“You can smell the desperation,” Ryan said on X about the Hanes.
It’s clear that Bill and Devin are desperate to get a rematch with Garcia as it’s the biggest payday available for Dev, and he needs to avenge the embarrassing beating he suffered at the hands of Kingry last April in front of a packed Barclays Center Arena in Brooklyn, New York.
The options for Hennie aren’t that good if he can’t get a rematch with Ryan. Turki Al-Shiekh will want Devin to fight someone talented, and he could go down if the guy has power. A loss for Haneya would permanently ruin his chances of a rematch with Garcia, and you have to wonder how Turki would view him after that. They may wear out their welcome with another loss.

Garcia said Bill and Devin need to drop their lawsuit against him for any chance of negotiating a fight. So far they haven’t done that. So it’s unclear why the Honeys continue to talk about looking at a rematch with Ryan as a “priority” in 2025.
Garcia says it’s not just the lawsuit that stands in the way of a rematch with Garcia. They will have to agree to another drug testing agency because Kingry refuses to use VADA. He feels that he is “fishy” that Bill is so in favor of that agency, and he’s suspicious.
