Before and after Pacific Palisades wildfires

The Palisades and Pacific Palisades communities have been destroyed by the Los Angeles fire.

A travelogue filmed in March last year by bloggers Simran and Ishaan showcases the green gardens, residential buildings, luxury shops and sea views that once formed part of the area.

But ten months later, as the fire ravaged the neighborhood, a Reuters photographer revisited the steps of the march, with images showing charred shells of homes, mangled cars and streets littered with ash and debris.
