Turki seems to really believe in Hani. He bought into the hype based on what he did when he was melting down for years to fight at 135. He was seen as a classic lightweight bully.
When Devin moved up to 140, it fell apart for him against Ryan, and he was viciously shelled in a humiliating loss. Hanei has been lying low ever since, licking his wounds, and no one saw him hiding or having hair until now when he came out of his barracks.
Haney’s Cryptic Comeback Plan

“It’s 100% personal because he cheated and got caught. So it’s very personal, and I want to be happy until that fight is over, the rematch,” Haynie said when asked if he wanted to fight Ryan Garcia a second time to try and avenge the 2024 loss. “That’s something for me.”
“We just saw him at the hotel.” He didn’t say a word. It’s unfinished business like I said,” Haynie said of crossing paths with Ryan Garcia in a London hotel today. “We can solve it in 2025 and I think we will.”
