2 Israeli diplomats killed during event at Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC


Two members of the Israeli Embassy were killed and killed during an event at the main Jewish Museum in Washington, DC, on Wednesday night, the authorities confirmed.

Tal Naim Cohen, a spokesman for the Israeli Embassy in the capital, confirmed Fox News that two diplomats were recorded “in the immediate vicinity” during the Jewish event at the Museum. The US Jewish Committee confirmed that the event was hosted in the post on X.

“We have full faith in the bodies of law enforcement and at the local and federal levels to capture the Sagittarius and protect the representatives of Israel and the Jewish community throughout the United States,” Cohen said.

Fox News confirmed that men and women were killed in shooting. Further details about their identity were not immediately available.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said DHS “actively investigates” an incident and “works to get more information”.

“Please pray for families of the victims. We will bring this corrupt perpetrator to justice,” Noem wrote on X.

The Metropolitan Police Directorate announced that a shooting investigation into the third street and F Street northwest is underway, where the main Jewish museum is located.

Danny Danon, an Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, said the event was held at the Museum, and the deadly shooting was the “perverted act of anti -Semitic (sic) terrorism” in a statement posted on X late on Wednesday night.

“The damage of diplomats and the Jewish communities cross the red line. We are convinced that US authorities will take strong measures against those responsible for this criminal act. Israel will continue to act decisively to protect its citizens and representatives – everywhere in the world,” he wrote.
