Nearly a dozen prisoners fled from a new orleans in prison on Friday morning, and at least one was arrested, towards the authorities.
New Orleans Police Directorate Anne Kirkpatrick said her agency had been informed at 10:30 am that there were 11 escape from Sheriff’s prison.
Kirkpatrick said that when she was informed she immediately offered any resources to the sheriff.
“This is an emergency and serious situation,” she said during a press conference. “Please, keep in mind. We know or seek pictures of these escapes from the Sheriff’s offices … We also want to make us report to the public that if you see something, and you just think that’s wrong, don’t hesitate. Call 911.”
Anyone who has determined that he helps escape will be charged as a co -chant, according to the authorities.
The Department of the Violent Runner actively seeks an escape, along with the FBI and US Marshals.
The Sheriff of the Orleans Parish Office did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital request for comment.
